Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect when you buy or ask about a travel eSIM, why, and the choices you have. We keep data to the minimum needed and never sell it.
01 Who we are
Internet in Laos sells travel eSIMs for Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. For any privacy question, email support@internetlaos.com.
02 What we collect
When you start checkout: your email address, the items in your basket and your chosen language — so we can complete your order and, if you don’t finish, remind you.
After a purchase: your order details, email and (if given) name, so we can deliver and support your eSIM.
Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
To activate and support your eSIM, our provider returns technical data such as the eSIM’s ICCID and activation code.
03 Why we use it (legal bases)
To fulfil your order and deliver your eSIM (performance of a contract).
To provide support and keep your purchase secure (legitimate interest and legal obligation).
To send up to two reminders about an unfinished checkout (legitimate interest) — you can opt out at any time.
04 Reminder emails
If you enter your email but don’t complete payment, we may send at most two reminder emails, then stop. Every reminder has a one-click unsubscribe link, and completing or opting out stops them immediately. We don’t run a newsletter.
05 Who we share it with
Only the providers needed to run the service: Stripe (payment), our eSIM provider (provisioning) and our email provider (delivery). They process data on our behalf under contract. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
06 How long we keep it
Details from an unfinished checkout are automatically deleted after 30 days. Completed-order records are kept only as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations.
07 Cookies and tracking
We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your basket is stored locally in your own browser, and we use only what is strictly necessary to operate the site and process payments securely.
08 Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, export or object to the processing of your data, and withdraw consent where it applies. Email support@internetlaos.com and we’ll respond. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
09 International transfers
Some of our providers operate outside your country, so your data may be processed abroad with appropriate safeguards in place.
